Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Lead Strategic Pricing Analyst to join our team in Holland, MI. This position will be eligible for a flexible work schedule, which allows work from home 1 or 2 days a week.
As a Lead Strategic Pricing Analyst, you will provide pricing support and contract negotiations with some of the largest companies in the world. This is a fast-paced, multi-tasking role that works with many different departments both within and outside of Haworth. You will be solving complex price agreement problems, developing innovative solutions, and mentoring junior team members. This position operates independently, seeking guidance only in the most challenging situations, and may lead teams or manage projects.
Essential Functions
Review, propose alternatives to, and authorize pricing and terms of sale on requests from Field Sales and dealers
Negotiate sales agreements, including direct negotiations with customer stakeholders
Drive and analyze financial performance and establish appropriate initiatives to deliver revenue and profitability improvement. Achieve or exceed target KPIs.
Provide internal education to, BRC, Field Sales and dealers on company resources and proposal tactics. Occasional travel (<5%) as needed to accomplish this.
Track competitive and market trends to develop bid and proposal strategies
Ensure compliance with governmental regulations for North American and cross-sector sales, including US and international trade terms.
Proficiency in contract law and terminology with a focus on business risk management.
Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Analytics or equivalent.
Education Equivalency:
Associate's degree plus 2 years related experience or,
High school diploma plus 4 years related experience.
Military Equivalency at
Experience:
7 years related experience with Bachelor’s degree or,
5 years related experience with Master’s degree.
Equivalent Military experience.
*Related experience is defined as working experience in contract negotiations, financial analysis, strategic pricing, and working with sales teams.
In addition:
Applicants must be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.
