Job Title: CNC Machinist and Programmer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist and Programmer to program, set up, and operate Lathe (Okuma) machines using MasterCAM software. The successful candidate will verify dimensions of machined parts using precision measurement tools within +/- .0005 tolerance. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining four lathe machines in our facility.

Responsibilities

Program, set up, and operate Lathe (Okuma) machines using MasterCAM software.

Verify dimensions of machined parts using precision measurement tools within +/- .0005 tolerance.

Operate and maintain four lathe machines in the facility.

Ensure quality and accuracy of machined parts.

Collaborate with team members to optimize machine performance.Essential Skills

Minimum of 4 years experience in horizontal lathe machining and programming.

Ability to program on CAM, CAD, or equivalent software.

Experience with 3 or 4 axis machines is required; 5 axis is a plus.

Proficiency in MasterCAM programming and blueprint reading.

Solidworks and dual spindle experience.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Must have own basic tools.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Petersburg, Florida.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
