The Opportunity:
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through daily cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy investigations. This role works closely with warehouse leads to coordinate counts using equipment like forklifts or cherry pickers, ensures timely processing of inventory requests, and monitors virtual bins for accuracy. The specialist identifies root causes of variances, recommends corrective actions, and escalates key issues to Operations. Additionally, they generate regular inventory reports for business intelligence, support physical inventory events such as year-end counts, and collaborate cross-functionally with departments like Purchasing, QA, Finance, and Sales to maintain operational efficiency.
What You’ll Do:
Plan and coordinate cycle counts in collaboration with warehouse leads.
Perform Cycle Counts Daily via Forklift or Cherry Picker.
Review Team daily counts and investigates any discrepancies.
Audit 10% of daily cycle counts – recount.
Determine root cause of inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective action.
Monitor Virtual Bins – collaboration with warehouse staff for efficient and timely movement.
Process Inventory Request forms for dept expense (Samples, etc.).
Monitor PN Bin transactions and residuals and escalate to Operations.
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports of cycle count status for BI reporting.
Coordinate and help facilitate physical inventory as required by the business i.e. year end collaboration with Finance.
Interface with Purchasing, Customer Service, QA, Accounting & Sales Depts
What You’ll Bring:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Inventory control in lot-controlled environment.
2-4 years ERP software experience.
Intermediate excel skills – pivot tables/lookups/reporting.
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma/Certificate; or 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000. The compensation offered may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and/or education.
