We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Controller to join our dynamic team in Virginia Beach. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial guidance for our organization.What You'll Do

Lead all accounting operations including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting

Manage month-end and year-end close processes with precision and timeliness

Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets

Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions

Prepare and analyze financial statements and provide actionable insights to leadership

Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure tax compliance

Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and modelingWhat You'll Bring

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)

5+ years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements

Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Outstanding communication skills and ability to translate complex financial concepts
