We are searching for a Studio & Facilities Manager to join our Project & Event Operations team within our Esports division. This team plays a pivotal role in designing and bringing to life the most amazing esports products for the community. They contribute to creating exceptional experiences that resonate with users and elevate the world of esports.
The Studio & Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all onsite studio and building-related activities are operating safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be well-organized with a can-do attitude that is energized by operational excellence. The Studio & Facilities Manager must also be reliable, discreet, and responsive. They will regularly present information to internal and external stakeholders. The goal is to ensure our business’s accommodation is problem-free and safe so that employees can work under the best conditions.
This position will be based out of our production studio located in Columbus, Ohio. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position. This position reports to our Senior Director, Project Management & Studio Services.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Act as the key point of contact for all onsite building and studio related activities.
Act as liaison with the Landlord’s management team to ensure proper adherence to the lease agreement.
Conduct regular inspections of all facilities spaces and work with studio leadership to report, troubleshoot, and promptly address facilities issues. Develop regular maintenance procedures and protocols and ensure implementation.
Act as regional lead to ensure all healthy and safety policies and procedures are being met.
Manage operational activities relating to facilities that may include parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security monitoring, etc.
Manage office operations as it relates to physical inventory. Monitoring, ordering and disrupting office supply purchases as well as managing office moves are an example of some of these responsibilities. It is important that you strive to maintain a neat and organized office environment.
Oversee relevant facilities & studio vendors. Grow and maintain vendors and resource relationships.
Support in special projects related to building, studio, and office as they arise. Some examples include organization of company events or leading office upgrades and renovation requests.
Manage communications with and between supervisors, peers, and subordinates regarding studio needs to ensure that all studios are properly supported and supplied at all times.
Act as onsite warden for all onsite studio productions. Including but not limited to, keeping track of all personnel in office/studio spaces via onsite authorization forms, preparing and coordinating onsite hospitality services such as catering, coordinating studio access, and general communications with production teams.
Partner with HR to train new hires on opening/closing and safety procedures as it relates to the facility.
Own and manage studio & facilities budget for Ohio region and support the project budgeting team with project-related pricing in owned areas.
Manage airtable production calendar update requests.
All other tasks as assigned.
Requirements

YOUR BONA FIDES:
Experience: 3+ years of facilities and / or office management experience and 1+ years of experience in studio operations, event logistics, or theater operations
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with equivalent experience.
OTHER:
Work Schedule: As most of our programs operate on the weekend, the standard weekly schedule would be Thursday - Monday. However, week schedules can be rearranged to M-F on non-show weeks. Start times during show days vary, but non-show days would be a standard 8:30am - 5:00pm.
Amount of Travel Required: Local. Must have a car and a valid driver’s license.
