Senior Electrical Engineer - on-site Brooklyn Park, MN

Summary

Experienced embedded system design engineer to join our industrial printing solutions engineering team.As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing our next-generation industrial printing solutions to meet our customers' marking and coding needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design embedded system using the latest SOC application processor and FPGA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the electrical design, development, testing, and deployment of the industrial printing system from conceptual design to full production.

Develop product technical and design specifications.

Lead the design and development of the electrical system of print controller and printhead.

Perform detailed circuit analysis, develop schematics, BOMs, and layouts to create Printed Circuit Board Assemblies, Bring Up, troubleshoot, and launch PCBA designs into production.

Create and maintain electrical design documentation such as schematic diagrams and PCB layout documents.

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues associated with corrective and preventive maintenance.

Design and lead prototype development, lab, and field tests.

Identify applicable standards and provide analysis of the design to these standards.

Work with Software, Firmware, Mechanical, Test Engineers, and Project Management to ensure a successful product lifecycle.

Work with manufacturing on product and process improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, or other relevant engineering degree

8+ years of electrical engineering experience

Expertise with embedded systems, FPGA, power electronics, and system-level designs

Experience with PCB design and layout, and system-level electrical engineering

Proficiency with Altium

Automation experience.Ideally come from the industrial automation industry
