QUIKRETE, a leading producer of packaged products, is seeking a full-time/ on-site Sr. Learning and Development Specialist, as part of our HR team, at our corporate headquarters in Sandy Springs, GA.

As a Sr. Learning and Development Specialist, you will be an on-site learning business partner and instructional designer responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs to enhance employee skills and organizational effectiveness.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Instructional Design: Design, develop, and adapt multi learner-focused experiences and resources in various formats, including e-learning modules, in person/webinar and other blended learning experiences that support our team development.

Project Management: Prepare, structure, and follow the development and implementation of learning initiatives and projects.

Needs Assessments: Work with HR and leaders to identify gaps in skills and knowledge, to define the learning priorities.

Program Design and Development: In partnership with Talent Management and HR Teams, create and develop training content and material, including presentations, handouts, learning courses, and other resources.

Expert-Matters Collaboration: Collaborates with key field experts to understand the training objectives and build effective programs. Provide coaching and guidance to leaders and HR partners.

Assets Management: Implement and track the resources and assets used for our programs. Maintain training resources, including participant guides, presentations, and multimedia materials, ensuring they are up-to-date, accessible, and aligned with company standards.

LMS: Manage and maintain our LMS database, assignments, and reporting.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in education, Human Resources, or a related field, with certifications in Instructional Design or similar.

5+ years of relevant experience as an Instructional Designer, Learning Designer or Equivalent.

Sound instructional design practices.

Experience with (some but not all) the following tools and systems: LMS, Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Synthesia, Strong proficiency with MS Office 365 Suite including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Strong knowledge of adult learning theory, learning styles, and learning needs.

Ability to create compelling and communicative graphics & content (graphic design skills a plus).

Bilingual English/Spanish is a Plus.

Self-starter and comfortable working independently.

Excellent verbal and technical writing communication skills.
