The primary responsibility of this role is to support in development and implementation of new model preparation at sites.

Reporting to the Manager, the person in this role will support the FAE objective to make Vehicle Manufacturing equipment best-in-industry for human safety, highest quality, and most efficient utilization of automation technology for non-value-added work reduction.

What you’ll be doing

(50%) Project Planning with Plant teams and Final Assembly team for upcoming model change.

(30%) Evaluating Model change impact to vehicle processes and developing technical equipment change requirements.

(10%) Development of new technologies and vendor base for PE (Production Engineering) and Manufacturing industry competitiveness improvement within Assembly.

(10%) Leading equipment projects from concept to launch for Equipment and Automation technology to Assembly.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Engineering or technical degree or equivalent work experience

List degree or equivalent (3+years) work experience

Experience in Assembly Engineering or Internal Logistics Engineering.

1 year or more, please list experience

Ability to travel up to 20%, to US as well as Japan for sites and equipment makers.

Ability to work up to 30% overtime when required

What you may bring:

Training and experience creating and interpreting equipment drawings from concepts to production Vehicle model change experience
