Responsibilities
Provide assistance with daily living
Provide supervision, safety and crisis management for residents.
Medication administration and management.
Accurate, daily logging of patient notes as required by federal, state, local laws & regulations.
Protect client information and confidentiality.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with residents, government regulators, residents families, other health care providers, physicians and the community at large.
Demonstrate professionalism, sound decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Grocery shopping, meal preparation, answer calls, set appointments, file invoices, order supplies.
A minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Experience or education in mental health, human services or related field is preferred
Demonstrated leadership ability, emotional maturity and patience necessary to understand and accept the social, psychological and emotional needs of adults with developmental disabilities
Requirements
Good verbal, written and computer skills
Must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and acceptable driving record
Must have the ability to represent New Hope Youth in a positive manner within the community
Background checks and pre-employment drug testing
