Forklift Operator - Shipping Department

TTC INTERNAL POSITION SHIPPING FORKLIFT OPERATOR Duties: Operate single and double fork forklifts to load finished goods onto trucks.

Assist with monitoring staging areas for shipments, ensure there are numbered trailer seals and ensure pre-loading trailer inspections are performed on all loads.

Scan pallets, read orders and communicate with truck drivers.

Assist with monitoring and reporting daily pallet inventories.

Report daily forklift safety inspections and report any maintenance issues.

Housekeeping inside and outside of dock areas by sweeping, mopping, or removing trash.

May assist with daily shipping paperwork (Bill of Lading) and reporting.

Requirements: 3+ years of Forklift operating experience Experience with loading and unloading trucks High School Diploma or equivalent Safe forklift record Extremely high attention to detail Ability to count and track product Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed Excellent customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
