Partner with multiple IT and business teams throughout various software development stages for applications built to support Cigna Voluntary and Dental product offerings; Lead root cause analysis process and provide support for production defects, subsequently resolving or routing to the teams accountable for service restoration; Partner in Post Implementation and Warranty project phases, and approve deferred defects; Participate in Agile PI planning and sprint demo sessions to represent product support; Oversee the various escalation processes for multiple work efforts including Issue Tickets, Service Request Issues, Root Cause Analysis, and /or Escalated Workarounds; Identify root cause and participate in triage/restoration efforts; Direct work queues and issue triage, including application incident management and reporting, performing triaging in the production environment, and actively taking part in all priority 1 and 2 SIM issues; Maintain Inventory of all TSG developed applications including the technology used, server names and locations by environment, dependencies on other applications, and databases; Partner with multiple Agile teams in the ceremonies and coordinating turn over meetings for the IT support team; and Anticipate and identify future technology impacts and prepare the organization’s foundation to meet future demands. Requires experience with: Analyzing functional requirements, and performing impact analysis; Preparing high level designs aligned with requirements and creating technical/functional specifications of systems including functional hierarchy diagrams, screen layout diagrams, tables of business rules, business process diagrams, and pseudo-code; Developing/maintaining scripts, programs, and configuration files; Unit testing and system/integration testing support; Managing and fixing defects using defect management tools; and Using: GitHub, Jira, Confluence, .Net, Java, Toad, Putty, jUnit, SOAP UI, uDeploy, Hyperon, Eclipse, JBoss, and Maven.
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in computers or engineering plus 5 years of experience in a related occupation.
