Donation Processing Agent (Remote 1099 Independent Contractor)

Empire Connect Agency is seeking professional, detail-oriented Pledge Donation Specialists to support well-established non-profit organizations. In this role, you will be responsible for taking inbound calls from donors and processing pledges with accuracy, empathy, and professionalism. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity, offering flexibility and the ability to work from home.

Responsibilities:

Answer inbound calls from individuals looking to donate to non-profit organizations

Accurately enter donation details and follow call handling procedures

Provide a high level of customer service with empathy, patience, and professionalism

Maintain a quiet and distraction-free work environment

Adhere to client-specific scripts, compliance requirements, and quality standards

Requirements:

Minimum of 6 months remote call center experience or 1 year of in-office (brick-and-mortar) call center experience

Clear communication skills and strong soft skills, including active listening, patience, and professionalism

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely

Must have a quiet home office environment

No criminal history (a background check is required)

Must be comfortable working as a 1099 independent contractor

Schedule:

Client services are available 24/7/365

Flexible scheduling—contractors may select shifts based on availability and business needs

Contractors must be dependable and committed to their selected hours
