We are seeking a dedicated and experienced MIG, TIG, and Stick Welder to join our fabrication team. This role involves welding and assembling heavy industrial parts according to blueprint specifications in a fast-paced, safety-focused manufacturing environment. Job Summary
As a Welder, you will tack, weld, and assemble metal components using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques. You will ensure that all work meets quality and safety standards while interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to complete jobs from start to finish.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Set up and operate MIG, TIG, and Stick welding equipment for various applications
Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
Layout and weld heavy metal components from raw material through final assembly
Assemble products according to specifications and instructions from the shop foreman
Ensure high attention to detail on all welds and assemblies
Prepare finished items for shipment as needed
Work collaboratively with team members to maximize productivity
Safely operate equipment and maintain a clean, organized work area Qualifications
Experience: 2â 5 years of hands-on MIG, TIG, and Stick welding experience required
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to read and write clearly for documentation purposes
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and company procedures
Capable of working independently and within a team environment
Must be able to pass a company-administered drug screen, background check, and driving record check
Forklift operation experience is a plus Availability
Must be willing and available to work 10-hour shifts (Mondayâ Thursday or Tuesdayâ Friday)
On-call availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as required
Must be flexible with hours during periods of high or low workload Work Environment
Industrial shop setting that is non-climate controlled
Work areas include exposure to sharp tools, welders, grinders, and other fabrication equipment
