Frankston Packaging is seeking a Die Cutter Operator to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work independently in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills and a commitment to quality and safety.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Review job/order specifications from the job jacket to determine all necessary details, including quantity, material, style, and special requirements.

Verify that all appropriate approvals (size/style) are in place. Notify Quality Assurance if any approvals are missing.

Set up and operate the die cutting press while maintaining expected quality and productivity levels.

Identify and correct in-process quality issues. Mark any questionable loads per work instructions. Ensure printing sort and redstain runs are kept on separate pallets and clearly marked for finishing.

Accurately report raw material usage (including waste) and production time in the ASI reporting system.

Inspect each load produced, ensuring continuous quality control. Communicate any problems or inconsistencies to management.

Keep management informed of job status and provide input for continuous improvement.

Perform other duties as assigned.Position Requirements:

Ability to move throughout the Die Cutting Department and safely navigate catwalks around the die cutting equipment.

Proficient in using a pallet jack to transport paperboard pallets to and from staging areas.

Must be able to lean, lie down, stoop, kneel, and stand on or in the press for setup and maintenance tasks.

Capable of lifting and carrying cutting dies and paperboard stacks (some may exceed 35 lbs.).

Good close vision is necessary for accurate inspection of work in process.Why Join Us?
