Structural Engineer

Raleigh, NC (On-site, Full-time)

Responsibilities:

Perform structural analysis and calculations for residential construction

Prepare technical drawings, construction documents, and structural reports

Collaborate with architects, contractors, and engineers throughout design and construction

Conduct site visits to assess structural conditions and recommend solutions

Ensure compliance with building codes and local regulations

Review and approve plans and specifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field

EI/EIT certification required; PE license preferred

Minimum 2 years of experience in structural or civil engineering

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Strong understanding of structural principles (wood framing, foundations, lateral design)

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Comfortable working with clients, contractors, and inspectors
