We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Entry-Level Travel Consultant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to begin a career in the travel industry. You will assist clients in planning and booking their travel experiences, while gaining hands-on experience with booking systems and travel coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with basic travel inquiries including flights, hotels, tours, and general advice.
Support senior consultants in preparing travel itineraries and quotes.
Learn and use travel booking systems and tools (training provided).
Communicate with travel providers to confirm reservations and pricing.
Provide clients with travel documents and updates.
Keep up to date with travel restrictions, regulations, and destination information.
Handle basic changes or cancellations to travel plans under supervision.
Maintain accurate customer records and follow up on inquiries.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in travel/tourism or hospitality is a plus.
Strong interest in travel and customer service.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn booking systems and travel industry tools.
Basic computer skills and comfort using email, spreadsheets, and internet research.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage time effectively.
Preferred but Not Required:
Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service.
Knowledge of popular travel destinations or travel trends.
Multilingual skills.
