Moose Landing Marina is seeking a full-time, year-round Marine Service Advisor to join our team. The Service Advisor works closely with the Service Manager to coordinate the activities of technicians, riggers, yard crew, detailers and drivers engaged in launching, retrieving, delivering, and servicing boats by performing the essential duties and responsibilities. The successful candidate could have a working knowledge, whether through schooling or work experience, with marine repairs, but it is not required.

Requirements
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Greet customers and accurately document work orders.
Maintain accurate records of all service transactions.
Schedule technicians/riggers, yard workers, detailers, and drivers.
Maintain customer contact regarding scheduling, job completion, and issues.
Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Work with Technicians and Service Manager in creating and sending out estimates for customer approval.
Work with warranty coordinator to schedule warranty work.
Provide excellent customer service.
Learn parts system to sell parts over the counter or to repair orders for upcoming jobs.
Responsible for sending out various contracts throughout the season to customer base.
Report any issues, conflicts, customer complaints to Service Manager.
Assist in answering telephone.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Other duties may be assigned.

Excellent customer service experience.
Marina experience a plus, but not required
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Google Docs, and gain knowledge of ADP Lightspeed, Dealership Management systems.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in marine related services preferred, but not required
Experience with software applications such as Lightspeed, Microsoft Office and applicable engine diagnostic software, but not required
Language Skills - Ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
Mathematical Skills - Basic Mathematical skills
Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concreate variables in standardized situations.
