Remote Travel Agent

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level Travel Agent to assist clients with their travel planning needs. In this role, you will support senior agents by helping clients research, book, and manage travel arrangements. Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients in planning and booking basic travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and transportation.

Provide destination information such as climate, customs, and activities.

Support with creating itineraries based on client preferences and budget.

Learn and use travel booking platforms (e.g., GDS, OTA systems like Expedia, Sabre).

Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat with professionalism and accuracy.

Maintain client records and ensure proper documentation for travel bookings.

Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and tour operators to confirm reservations.

Resolve minor issues with bookings or itinerary changes under the supervision of senior agents.

Stay up to date with travel trends, restrictions, and safety advisories.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED (Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Hospitality or Tourism is a plus).

Passion for travel and customer service.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, email, web research).

Willingness to learn booking tools and systems.

Detail-oriented and organized.

No prior experience required, but any retail, hospitality, or sales background is helpful.
