Job Title: Salesforce Business Analyst

Location: Arlington Office

Job Type: Full-Time

We are currently seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in aligning our business processes with our technology solutions.

Work Schedule:

This position requires the individual to work from the Arlington office Monday to Thursday.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business representatives to understand and document business processes / SOPs.

Train new employees in business processes and how business teams utilize technology.

Gather and document requirements from business representatives, ensuring clarity and ease of review.

Act as a liaison between business representatives and the technical team to build and document business solutions for each requirement.

Create detailed user stories and business solution documentation, including screenshots, mockups diagrams, flowcharts, process flow diagram (PFD), assumptions, and other necessary details.

Identify and document other features that may be impacted and require testing.

For each feature, identify RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed) and follow the RACI definition for all communication.

Obtain timely sign-off on requirements from business representatives

Act as an advocate representing Tech team in negotiations with business stakeholders

Address questions from development and QA teams regarding requirements and business solutions.

Create user guides and release notes for each feature and release.

Ensure that any changes to features are communicated according to RACI.

Ensure that any change requests from business representatives are approved by the leadership before committing.

Notify impacted users of upcoming changes and active users of planned releases and release windows.

Maintain accurate status, initial estimates, and actual estimates for tasks assigned in DevOps.

Maintain professional and respectful communication with peers and supervisors.

Perform any other duties as assigned or required to support Tech deliverables and needs.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

4+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a Salesforce environment.

Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to document them effectively.

Experience with Scrum methodology and Agile practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in creating detailed user stories and business solution documentation.

Familiarity with RACI and its application in project management.

Experience with DevOps or similar project management tools.

Knowledge of business process modeling and notation (BPMN).

Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce certification(s) such as Salesforce Certified Business Analyst, Salesforce Certified Administrator, or Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator.

Experience with training and onboarding new employees.

Experience in the legal industry or similar sectors is a plus.
