Description:
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst will work under the supervision of the Director of Region II. Responsibilities include the development and implementaion of behavioral support services for staff, students and for parent training. The candidate will need to be able to provide training and technical assistance to teachers and instructional assistants along with other school staff on the principles of ABA. Conducting observations and assessments to determine the need for behavioral supports for students including the development of Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPS) and Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA's) are included in the job responsibilities. The BCBA position is a consultant position with the opportunity to work 29.5 hours per week. Collaborating and consulting with fellow BCBAs is a valuable advantage of this position.
