Machinist

Staffmark is seeking a skilled Machinist to join a reputable team in Sauk Rapids, MN. If you're looking for a hands-on role with growth potential and a company that values your experience and dedication, this opportunity is for you.

Pay Rate: $18.61 - $25.14 per hour, depending on experience

Shift Available: 2nd Shift Monday - Thursday, 3:15 PM - 1:15 AM

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate mills, lathes, and/or routers to machine flat and formed parts to both inch and metric specifications

Interpret and work from complex engineering drawings

Recommend and implement improvements to tooling and machining processes

Use schedules, shop orders, blueprints, and specifications to maintain accuracy and productivity

Maintain accurate logs and required documentation

Determine machining sequence as needed

Perform first article inspections when necessary

Assist team members with machining issues

Operate independently with moderate supervision

What We're Looking For:

3-4+ years of manufacturing or machining experience

A.A. degree, technical training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Understanding of mechanical systems, flow control elements, and MRP concepts

Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

Ability to work safely with delicate components and perform repetitive tasks

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and sitting
