One of Tennessee's top entertainment destinations, offering a vibrant mix of attractions, dining, shopping, and live entertainment. We are seeking a results-driven Director of Operations to lead the charge in delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving strategic growth.

About the Role

The Director of Operations is a high-impact, executive-level position with oversight of daily operations and long-term success. Reporting to ownership, you will lead a senior leadership team responsible for amusement rides, park services, facility maintenance, group sales, marketing, and entertainment. You will also collaborate extensively with internal and external stakeholders, including tenants, vendors, media, and community leaders, to uphold our reputation as a must-visit destination.

Key Responsibilities

Direct the overall operations, focusing on delivering a safe, seamless, and enjoyable guest experience.

Oversee and guide operational areas, including attraction management, group sales, marketing, park services, and entertainment.

Monitor financial performance, including setting and managing budgets, labor models, and profit centers.

Champion safety and compliance protocols, ensuring adherence to all regulatory and emergency procedures in a public attraction setting.

Drive innovation, incorporating new attraction development, park expansion opportunities, and cutting-edge technology to enhance operations and guest satisfaction.

Build and lead a diverse team of senior leaders, empowering them to excel in their departments while fostering collaboration across functions.

Partner with key stakeholders, including tenants, contractors, media, and local community leaders, to create mutually beneficial partnerships and ensure alignment with our goals.

Qualifications and Skills

We’re looking for a visionary leader with the expertise to take the operations to new heights. Key qualifications include:

Experience: 8+ years of senior leadership in theme parks, amusement parks, or entertainment attraction operations.

Leadership: A proven track record of leading diverse, high-performing teams in high-traffic environments.

Financial Acumen: Strong experience managing budgets, labor models, and profit centers.

Safety Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of safety, compliance, and emergency protocols in a public attraction facility.

Technology Savvy: Familiarity with park operations technology, including ride systems, ticketing, POS, and guest feedback tools.

Innovative Mindset: A history of driving innovation to elevate guest experiences and expand operations.

Communication: Exceptional communication and organizational skills with the ability to build productive relationships with teams and stakeholders.

Availability: Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on operational demands.

Bonus Points

Experience leading attraction development, park expansion, or new opening initiatives.

Expertise in leveraging technology to enhance operations and guest engagement.
