Job Title: CNC Operator
Job Description
Join a rapidly expanding manufacturer of precision-formed powertrain components for the automotive and industrial sectors. We are seeking dedicated Production Workers for our 2nd and 3rd shifts to meet growing production demands. You will be part of a dynamic team producing between 500 and 1,100 parts per shift using one of our 49 CNC machines. Your role will begin with training on the 1st shift for one to four weeks, after which you will receive a 5% shift premium upon transitioning to your designated shift.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC machines to produce powertrain components.
Meet production targets of 500 to 1,100 parts per shift.
Ensure quality control using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Contribute to a positive work environment through strong work ethic and coachability.
Participate in training programs and adapt to new processes.Essential Skills
Minimum of 6 months production experience in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to operate CNC machines.
Proficiency in using hand tools and production equipment.
Experience with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Capability to stand for majority of shift.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in an automotive setting or high-volume production preferred.
Steel-toed boots required.
Familiarity with CNC mills and lathes is a plus.
Knowledge of offsets, changeovers, and PLEX software is advantageous.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shelby Township, Michigan.CNCPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
