We are seeking a curious, detail-oriented, and history-loving Entry-Level Historical Travel Consultant to join our team remotely. In this role, you will help design and coordinate travel experiences centered around world history, ancient civilizations, cultural heritage sites, and educational tourism. You’ll work closely with clients and partners to deliver enriching and immersive trips to historically significant destinations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and booking travel packages focused on historical landmarks, museums, archaeological sites, and cultural experiences.
Research destinations, historical events, and heritage sites to support custom itinerary development.
Coordinate logistics such as transportation, guided tours, accommodations, and entry tickets.
Communicate with clients to understand their interests and recommend personalized travel experiences.
Support tour operations by preparing documents, travel guides, and historical background materials.
Stay informed on heritage tourism trends, global events, and preservation efforts.
Maintain accurate client records, booking data, and communication logs using CRM and booking tools.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in history, archaeology, anthropology, tourism, or a related field preferred.
Strong interest in history, education, and cultural travel.
Excellent research, communication, and organizational skills.
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Tech-savvy and able to learn booking systems, CRM tools, and online platforms.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
Personal travel experience to historical or UNESCO World Heritage destinations.
Previous experience in customer service, tour coordination, or educational travel.
Foreign language skills or background in cultural studies.
Familiarity with major historical sites and tour operators specializing in heritage travel.
