We are looking for a detail-oriented and wine-passionate Entry-Level Wine Tour Advisor to join our travel planning team. In this role, you will help design and coordinate wine-focused travel experiences to top wine regions around the world. You’ll work with clients to create itineraries that include vineyard visits, tastings, wine and food pairings, and cultural excursions—all while ensuring seamless travel logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and booking wine tours, including winery visits, tasting appointments, accommodations, transportation, and dining.
Research and recommend destinations known for their wine culture (e.g., Napa Valley, Bordeaux, Tuscany, Mendoza, Stellenbosch).
Build custom itineraries based on clients’ wine preferences, travel goals, and budgets.
Communicate with wineries, hotels, drivers, and local guides to confirm bookings and manage relationships.
Stay informed on wine travel trends, seasonal harvests, and regional wine festivals.
Provide clients with wine region insights, tasting etiquette, and travel tips.
Maintain accurate records of client preferences, bookings, and payments.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, wine studies, or tourism is a plus.
Passion for wine, travel, and culinary culture.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple bookings.
Comfortable using booking software, spreadsheets, and CRM systems.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
Wine knowledge or certification (e.g., WSET Level 1 or 2, CMS Introductory) is a plus.
Previous experience in travel planning, hospitality, or wine-related service.
Personal travel experience in major wine regions.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are beneficial.
