We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Entry-Level Culinary Tour Specialist to join our travel planning team. In this role, you’ll help design and coordinate travel experiences focused on food, wine, local cuisine, and cultural gastronomy. From food markets to fine dining, cooking classes to vineyard tours, you’ll help clients explore the world through taste.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and booking culinary travel packages, including food tours, restaurant reservations, wine tastings, and cooking experiences.
Research destinations known for their culinary traditions and recommend unique, authentic experiences.
Coordinate logistics such as accommodations, transportation, local guides, and activity scheduling.
Build customized itineraries that reflect client preferences and dietary needs.
Communicate with vendors, chefs, and local suppliers to confirm bookings and manage relationships.
Stay updated on culinary travel trends, regional food festivals, and seasonal offerings.
Support marketing and promotional efforts by contributing to blogs or culinary travel content.
Maintain accurate client records, bookings, and payment tracking.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in culinary arts, hospitality, tourism, or a related field is a plus.
Passion for food, cooking, and global culinary traditions.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Highly organized with great attention to detail.
Comfortable using computers and learning booking tools or CRM systems.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
Personal travel experience with food-focused trips or tours.
Experience in hospitality, food service, or event planning.
Familiarity with popular culinary destinations (e.g., Italy, Thailand, Japan, France, Peru).
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
