We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Entry-Level Island Travel Advisor to join our team. In this role, you’ll help clients plan and book memorable vacations to tropical and island destinations around the world—ranging from Caribbean escapes to South Pacific getaways. You’ll assist with customizing itineraries that include accommodations, activities, and travel logistics tailored to each traveler’s ideal island experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients in booking travel packages to island destinations, including flights, resorts, cruises, activities, and transportation.
Recommend destinations based on client preferences, travel goals, and seasonal factors.
Coordinate logistics such as airport transfers, inter-island travel, excursions, and dining reservations.
Create detailed travel itineraries and ensure all documentation and confirmations are provided.
Stay up to date on island-specific travel trends, resort updates, weather patterns, and cultural activities.
Maintain accurate records of client information, bookings, and special requests using CRM and booking platforms.
Deliver high-quality customer service before, during, and after travel.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, tourism, or a related field preferred.
Strong interest in island destinations, beach travel, and resort experiences.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Tech-savvy with the ability to learn booking platforms and customer management systems.
Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
Personal travel experience to island destinations (e.g., Hawaii, Maldives, Bora Bora, Jamaica, Santorini).
Previous experience in customer service, travel planning, or hospitality.
Knowledge of all-inclusive resorts, cruises, and island hopping logistics.
Bilingual abilities or experience working with international clients.
