We are looking for a culturally curious and detail-oriented Entry-Level Cultural Tour Specialist to join our travel planning team. In this role, you will help design and coordinate enriching travel experiences focused on history, art, heritage, local traditions, and cultural exchange. You’ll work closely with clients and local partners to create immersive, educational tours that celebrate global diversity.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and booking custom cultural tours and group experiences around the world.
Research and recommend destinations, cultural activities, local guides, and accommodations.
Support the development of detailed itineraries that include historical landmarks, museums, performances, and community interactions.
Coordinate travel logistics such as transportation, meals, group access, and interpreters.
Maintain communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth tour execution.
Provide clients with relevant cultural etiquette, safety guidance, and destination background.
Stay current on global cultural trends, festivals, and tourism developments.
Help gather client feedback and support marketing content creation (e.g., blogs, destination guides).
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in anthropology, history, international relations, or tourism preferred.
Passion for cultural travel, global traditions, and educational tourism.
Strong writing, communication, and research skills.
Highly organized and attentive to detail.
Comfortable using office software and learning CRM or booking platforms.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
Previous experience in travel planning, education, guiding, or museum work.
Firsthand travel experience in culturally rich destinations.
Foreign language skills or experience working with multicultural groups.
Familiarity with cultural organizations, travel consortia, or academic tour providers.
