Remote Religious Travel Planner

We are looking for a faith-oriented and detail-driven Entry-Level Religious Travel Planner to join our team remotely. In this role, you will assist in organizing spiritual journeys, pilgrimages, and faith-based group trips to sacred destinations. This is an ideal position for someone passionate about travel, service, and religion, with a desire to grow in the travel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planning religious group travel, including pilgrimages, church tours, mission trips, and spiritual retreats.

Support clients with booking flights, hotels, transportation, and guided tours tailored to religious and cultural interests.

Communicate clearly with church groups, mission organizers, and individual travelers about travel options and requirements.

Research and recommend destinations of religious significance (e.g., Jerusalem, Vatican City, Mecca, Lourdes, etc.).

Coordinate with vendors and local guides to ensure seamless experiences.

Create simple itineraries and travel documents under supervision.

Monitor travel advisories, entry requirements, and health/safety protocols relevant to sacred destinations.

Respond to client inquiries through phone, email, or video chat.

Assist with managing group registrations and payments using booking software.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Theology, Religious Studies, Hospitality, or Tourism is a plus).

Strong interest in religious studies, ministry, or faith-based travel.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Comfortable working independently in a remote setting.

Organized, reliable, and capable of multitasking.

Proficient in basic computer tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Zoom, etc.).

Customer service or hospitality background is a bonus.

Experience with church or mission trip organization is a strong asset (volunteer or paid).

Work Environment:

100% remote (must have reliable internet and computer).

Flexible scheduling, including occasional evening availability for group calls.
