Join Our Team as a Clinical Assessor - Radix Recovery (Cedar Rapids, IA)
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA Full-Time Exempt

Are you a skilled clinical professional with a passion for helping others through substance use recovery? Radix Recovery is hiring a Clinical Assessor to lead diagnostic assessments and support clients on their path to healing.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments using DSM-5 and ASAM criteria
Complete OWI assessments and submit required documentation
Develop personalized treatment plans based on clinical findings
Review legal, medical, and treatment history to inform diagnoses
Deliver education and support to clients and families
Ensure all documentation complies with HHS, Joint Commission, and HIPAA standards
Collaborate with intake, medical, legal, and clinical teams
Support therapy services when needed through group or individual sessions
Maintain a professional, safe, and clean working environmentWhat You'll Need:
Required: CADC certification; Associate degree in human services, psychology, or a related field
Preferred: Higher licensure (e.g., IADC, LMHC, LISW, LMFT) and/or a Bachelor's or Master's degree
Experience: 2+ years in substance abuse assessment or treatment settings
Skills & Knowledge:
DSM-5 & ASAM Criteria
Strong written documentation and clinical judgment
Motivational interviewing and cultural competence
EHR documentation and regulatory compliance
