Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Financial Consultant to support the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing operation of a large-scale SAP ECC system. This individual will work as part of a dedicated Finance team to ensure the optimal configuration and performance of SAP financial modules. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in public sector finance operations and extensive hands-on experience with ECC modules including FI, CO, FM, GM, and Project Systems.

Responsibilities:

Provide implementation, configuration, and support services for SAP ECC financial modules including:

oFI (Financial Accounting)

oCO (Controlling)

oFM (Funds Management)

oGM (Grants Management)

oProject Systems

Collaborate with internal finance teams and technical staff to align system functionality with organizational needs.

Participate in all phases of the SAP project lifecycle: requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, training, and support.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely delivery of support.

Assist with the preparation and validation of financial data for reporting, including the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR).

Support the integration of finance modules with other SAP areas such as CRM, Logistics, and Supplier Relationship Management.

Ensure compliance with applicable policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills:

8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ECC Financials implementation and support.

3+ years of experience working with SAP Finance ECC systems in a public sector environment.

Functional expertise in:

oGeneral Ledger

oControlling (CO)

oFunds Management (FM)

oGrants Management (GM)

oProject Systems

Hands-on experience in:

Design and configuration

Documentation and testing

Go-live and post-production support

Experience working directly with end-users and stakeholders.
