CNA Instructor - 12 hours per week (4 hours per day, three days a week, 9 am to 1pm)
LVN license in Texas and minimum one-year long-term care experience.

We are seeking a CNA Instructor to join our team! As an Instructor, you will be facilitating classroom teaching, following the agreed-upon class schedule, participating in student discussion boards, and responding to student questions or issues in a timely manner. You will also be grading classwork and providing feedback to help students understand their course materials, address upcoming concerns for students, and ensure each student has the tools they need to succeed. The ideal candidate must have a background in nursing (LVN or RN), has strong communication skills, and can cultivate a positive learning atmosphere.
Responsibilities
Maintain prewritten course schedule and timelines
Take students to long-term care facilities for practical/hands-on training.
Grade homework and provide constructive feedback to students
Participate in classroom discussions
Answer student questions to the best of your ability, helping students work through problems and find solutions
Cultivate a positive learning environment for studentsQualifications
Need to LVN or RN license in Texas.
Previous experience for at least one year in a long term care facility.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to multitask, and shift priorities as needed
Familiarity with online teaching platforms and grading systems
