Experienced Construction Carpenter

Job Description

We are a Livonia-based company looking for a skilled and highly experienced Carpenter to join our crew! ***REQUIRING at least 5-10 years of experience in residential framing and remodeling. No laborers, please Your job will entail working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructure on construction sites. Job sites are typically located across Livonia, Northville, Plymouth, Canton, Huntington Woods, Dearborn, Novi, Bloomfield Hills, etc. Looking for someone, preferably local or close to our job areas. Work hours are Monday-Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm.

Responsibilities

Cut, shape, and smooth lumber or other material according to measurements

Fabricate and install wooden or other structures

Take measurements & calculate the size and amount of material needed

Building home frames, windows, staircases, or full-blown homes

Punctuality

Requirements and Skills

Foreman experience or capabilities

At least 5-10 years proven experience as a carpenter

Efficient in working with carpentry materials

Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques & methods of installation and construction

Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.)

Good physical condition and endurance

MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION and tools

Good understanding of basic mathCompany Description
