Our client's pain management practice in Napa, CA is seeking a skilled PA or NP to join our team, committed to delivering evidence-based treatment plans and delivering a supportive, excellent patient experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Current California license or license-eligible
-Experience with chronic pain management
-Compassion and curiosity with a strong understanding of pain physiology and treatment modalities
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting patient relationships and team building
-Commitment to ethical practice and adherence to pain management best practices
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Conduct thorough pain assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, including interventional procedures
-Perform certain musculoskeletal injections after a thorough training period
-Manage patients with implanted devices and refill spinal infusion pumps placed for pain
-Manage a diverse patient population with various chronic pain conditions, including cancer pain and end of life care
-Provide medication management, including opioid prescribing, with strict adherence to guidelines
-Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, psychologists, and specialists
-Educate patients on pain management strategies, including lifestyle modifications and non-pharmacological interventions
-Treat patients with depression in our TMS treatment center
-Participation in our Annual Kauai Pain Conference
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
