Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in operating CNC machines, specifically Mazak, and have a strong understanding of blueprints, machining sequences, and setup requirements. This role involves maintaining cleanliness in the work area while ensuring precise machining processes.
Responsibilities
Study blueprints, sketches, and determine sequence of operations and setup requirements.
Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines as necessary to machine parts.
Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut.
Enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media according to established guidelines.
Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjust machine controls or control media as required.
Verify conformance of finished work-piece to specifications using measuring and inspection tools.
Set up and operate machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.
Collaborate with production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.Essential Skills
High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge of blueprints and CNC machines
Experience with Mazak machines
3+ years of recent CNC machining experience
Mazak 3-5 axis machining experience
CNC Lathe and Millturn
Experience with Mazatrol SmoothX ControlsAdditional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with Fanuc controls
Proficiency with tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $52000.00/yr.
