Volt is immediately hiring for an Order Picker in the Parts Dept. in Northwest Houston, Texas.

As an Order Picker, you will:

Accurately pick inventory items for customer orders and prepare for auditing & packing

Accurately and systematically apply all items picked to specific orders

Maintain required documents and/or reports on inspection and quality.

Assist with operations and supervisor for problem resolution.

Support other operation sections as needed.

Maintain a clean working environment.This is a Full-Time Contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

Good communication skills to converse with employees, supervisor, and managers.

One year of experience working in Warehouse Facility

Ability to read, to write, and to speak English language fluently.

Bilingual (Spanish and English) is a plus.

Must be able to clearly follow instructions and procedures.

Must be able to work without constant supervision and monitoring.

Experience with RF Scan guns in a warehouse is a must.

Prior forklift experience with a Reach Truck and/or an Order Picker is desired.

Attention to detail a must

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in an open warehouse environment.

Fair problem resolution skills.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Must be able to lift and hold up to 50lbs unassisted.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is repeatedly required to stand; walk; kneel or crouch for long periods of the day.

Use manual hand tools as needed.Pay Rate: $13.50 - $14.50 per hour

Duration: 3 Months

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
