Job Summary:

The Field Aggregate Service Technician will work in the field to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aggregate production equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, along with excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on aggregate production equipment, including crushers, screens, conveyors, and other machinery.

Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in the field.

Conduct inspections and diagnose equipment performance issues.

Install and replace parts and components as needed.

Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all work performed.

Provide technical support and training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while performing services.

Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management regarding job status and equipment needs.

Travel to various job sites and work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred.

Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, specifically with aggregate or heavy equipment.

Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical principles.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers and team members.

Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as required.

Physical capability to lift heavy objects and work in outdoor conditions.

Willingness to travel.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with welding and fabrication.

Familiarity with industry-specific tools and software.

Certification in safety training (e.g., OSHA).
