We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to assist a client in Silver Spring, MD, with experience in dementia care. This is a part-time position scheduled for Mondays and Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, totaling 12 hours per week.

Qualifications:

- At least 2-3 years of experience in dementia care.

- Will need current CPR and First Aid Certification

- Current CNA license

- Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance

- Must have reliable transportation

- Must have good oral and written communication skills

- Must be able to understand care plans and assessments

- Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work, which includes a negative TB Test

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)

- Meal preparation

- Light housekeeping

- Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes

- Assist with medication reminders

- Engage the client in conversation and activities
