Equine Veterinary Technician - ICU

What we're looking for

The Alamo Pintado Equine Veterinary Technician supports and works cohesively with a world-class team of veterinarians, technicians, client service representatives and administrative staff. Candidate should be a self-starter, excellent at multi-tasking, empathetic, compassionate and friendly.

What the ideal candidate has and can do

Provide technical support to veterinarians in the delivery of primary care, diagnostic services and disease control

Assist with medications, treatments and procedures for ICU/Medicine cases

Willing and able to work a rotating schedule that includes evenings and weekends

Extensive experience handling and managing horses

Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients, doctors and team members

Ability to perform a variety of tasks utilizing a wide degree of creativity and attention to detail

Regular cleaning, stocking and organization of equipment and materials for daily workflow and emergency readiness, including strict observation of biosecurity and maintenance of a clean and safe environment.
