Salary: $80,000-$90,000 DOE

The Ounalashka Corporation is seeking a Human Resources Manager. This professional level position with minimal supervision and broad guidance reports to the Chief Executive Officer and provides HR direction and support to OC, its subsidiaries and employees (approximately 30). This position interacts with all levels, both management and non-management employees, as well as the Board of Directors, dealing with a variety of administrative, technical, and professional work by directing, coordinating, advising, and administering the human resource activities, systems, and functions of OC.

The services this position performs includes but is not limited to, review of all personnel actions, changes, and grievances, administers all benefits, evaluates all disciplinary actions, assesses, advises, and enforces OCs policies and procedures, helps manager, among others, requests for PTO/ADA/Long and Short Term Disability, Workers Comp claims, Unemployment claims/requests, ensures compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations, manages recruitment process and in charge of the performance evaluation process.

This position is key to the overall success of the operations and must exhibit professionalism and composure in all situations.

Job Summary:

OC is seeking a highly organized and experiencedHuman Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of HR functions and general office administration. This role combines traditional HR responsibilities with administrative duties to support the smooth operation of the company. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and able to handle both people operations and day-to-day logistical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent, including creating thorough Job Descriptions as positions become available

Administer health, dental, vision, and other employee benefits programs

Track and manage company assets including computers, cell phones, key codes, parking passes and all other employee-assigned equipment

Maintain accurate employee records in compliance with legal requirements and internal policies

Handle employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution

Maintain and monitor office supply inventory; place orders as needed to ensure operational efficiency

Support leadership in driving employee engagement and fostering a positive workplace culture

Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations

Manage HR systems (Bamboo, Easy Llama, etc.) and provide regular reporting

Administer and assist Company 401(k) Plan and related documents

Complete onboarding/offboarding of all staff

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR and administrative role

Strong knowledge of HR functions, including benefits administration and employee relations

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Experience managing company assets and tracking equipment assignments

Familiarity with office management and supply procurement

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field (HR certification preferred)

Proficiency in Bamboo HR, Paychex and/or other software systems

Minimum three (3) - five (5) years in a similar position
