Service Technician / Senior Security / Access Control Installer

Now hiring a Service Technician/Senior Security/Access Control Installer with access control and video surveillance experience to install, test and program security systems, card readers, electric door strikes, motion sensors, access and attendance systems, and safety systems.

Responsibilities:

Install various access control devices.

Install, terminate, test, label and document horizontal, backbone and other cables.

Program Access Control Panels & Systems.

Install cable pathway systems (cable trays, cable racks, J-hooks or D-rings).

Service Lenel and AMAG access control systems.

Measure low voltage cables and interpret the results.

Installing conduit, coring, or trenching.

Installing/pulling cable and wire.

Mounting panels, field devices, computers, power supplies.

Programming, set-up, and testing systems.

Dress and route cable into closets and control rooms.

Identifies code issues and non-conformance issues.

Service CCTV surveillance systems such as Milestone Video Management Systems, IP cameras, HP servers, and basic Ethernet networking protocols.

Responds and carries out to completion any troubleshooting and repairs to assigned customer systems.

Ensures assigned installations are completed on-time and within budget.

Acts as a mentor and provides on-the-job training to lower level Field Service Technicians as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must have 3+ years of Service Technician/Instillation experience.

Must be able to pass a drug and background check.

Must have a clean driving record.
