Job Description
The person in this position has a background in Chemistry/Biochemistry or related science field and has the ability to perform routine to non-routine technical assignments in the R&D department with moderate to little supervision.
Principal responsibilities:
· Active participation - including hands-on bench work - in the product development activities, such as making and testing formulations, identifying improvements, validations, troubleshooting, transfer activities.
· Follows work instructions, procedures and Company practices, and performs assigned tasks in a timely manner; understands the significance of the work and results.
· Keeps legible records documenting all analytical activities and results; able to organize data, analyze results and draw conclusions, and to write reports.
· Conducts instrument calibrations as required.
Requirements:
· Science degree (with previous work experience in a Chemistry/Biochemistry lab preferred but not required).
· Flexible, strong analytical, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills and/or willingness to learn and adapt.
· Ability to work in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
· Good interpersonal skills and collaborative team attitude.
· Authorization to work in US indefinitely.Company Description
