Job Description
We are currently seeking a Collections Manager to join our team. We are seeking an individual with a professional, positive mindset that can build rapport with customers.
Responsibilities:
Generate weekly reports to track unpaid customer accounts
Make daily phone calls and send delinquent letters to customers who are behind on payments
Advise and follow-up with customers on unpaid accounts
Conduct thorough account research to understand customer credit history
Initiate repossession proceedings
Keep records and status of customer's account
Build rapport with customers who have become delinquent and assist them in developing a plan to bring accounts to current status
Qualifications:
Previous experience in debt collections
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Attention to detail
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Proficient knowledge of relevant computer programs such as MS office, Windows PC and web-based applications
