Overview

We are seeking a skilled Forklift operators to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating cherry pickers and other heavy equipment to efficiently retrieve and manage inventory. This role is crucial in ensuring that our warehouse operations run smoothly and safely while adhering to OSHA regulations.

Duties

Operate cherry pickers and clamp trucks to pick orders accurately from high shelves.

Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels.

Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation.

Collaborate with team members to build and organize pallets for efficient shipping.

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including OSHA standards, while operating heavy machinery.

Assist in the training of new employees on equipment operation and safety practices.

Maintain a clean and organized work area within the warehouse.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an order picker or in a similar role within a distribution center.

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred.

Ability to operate heavy equipment, including cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and cranes.

Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in order fulfillment.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Strong commitment to safety practices and adherence to OSHA regulations.
