Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Research and Editing Reporter to join our team on a part-time basis. This remote role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who will monitor, analyze, and compile reports from American mainstream media and think tanks, focusing on East Asian policies and developments. The successful candidate will identify valuable insights, synthesize complex data, and produce clear, concise, and actionable intelligence for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct daily monitoring and analysis of American mainstream media and think tank reports related to East Asian policies.

Compile and edit content to highlight key trends, opportunities, and risks.

Prepare detailed briefings and analysis for internal and external stakeholders.

Maintain an organized database of relevant sources, ensuring accuracy and reliability in reporting.

Collaborate remotely with team members to support broader research initiatives.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in research, journalism, or policy analysis (expertise in East Asia preferred).

Exceptional English proficiency, with outstanding writing and editing skills.

Ability to analyze complex information and distill it into clear, concise reports.

Familiarity with the American media landscape and think tanks (e.g., Council on Foreign Relations, Brookings Institution, etc.).

Proficiency with research tools and databases.

Self-motivated, with excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.

Ability to thrive independently in a remote work environment.

Background in international relations or East Asian studies is a strong advantage.
