Description:

We help millions of people create homes they love

In the beginning, in 2016, we were just two best friends working on a simple idea: how to make it super easy to turn your favorite smartphone photos into awesome wall art.

Today, we have multiple product lines with millions of customers, including Mixtiles, Mixtiles Art, Easyplant, and Around. And we're shipping new products every year.

We love what we do, and we love people who love what they do. If you're that kind of person, read on.

Small team = a lot of impact

We’re ~100 people, with wildly diverse skill sets, serving millions of customers. Each of us drives a lot of impact. Your work will matter

Products people love

Working on products you & your family personally use creates a feeling of connection, fun, and spreads good karma

Our secret formula = make it easy to use

It’s how we re-invented the picture frame, and then the houseplant. It’s how we got to millions of customers. It’s pure design, and people love it

Solve hard, real world problems

Every day, we handle extreme challenges in user experience, manufacturing and scale for which we use tech like AI, AR & robotics

A real business, built to last

We believe great products have great unit economics. That’s why Mixtiles is a high growth company that’s also profitable

What You’re Applying For

We’re a $230M company that builds and sales over 13M products a year, and that still builds like a startup: fast, lean, and full of heart. As we scale even further, we need world-class operations to keep the experience seamless and exceptional.

We’re looking for an Operations Engineer to drive operational excellence across our global manufacturing footprint.

This isn’t just about reducing defects or improving output. It’s about building the systems that power products people love—and doing it with precision, creativity, and collaboration.

You’ll partner with manufacturers across the US, EU, and Asia to streamline production, solve root problems, and elevate quality across the board. You’ll be on the ground, at the line, and in the room—turning ideas into better, faster, smoother realities.

Why This Role? Why Now?

We’re growing fast—and scaling production to match

We work across multiple geographies, factories, and product lines

Quality isn’t a department—it’s a promise we make to every customer

This role is global, hands-on, and deeply cross-functional

You’ll have the freedom to make change happen—and the support to do it right

In This Role, You Will

Own the manufacturing flow across global partners, from onboarding to optimization

Visit facilities regularly to identify bottlenecks, improve processes, and unlock new throughput

Identify quality trends and issues, and lead quality investigations—from signal to root cause to resolution

Build trusted relationships with factory teams, acting as a partner and performance accelerator

Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Supply Chain to improve cost, speed, and customer experience

Turn complex data into clear action plans—and track impact over time

Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency at scale

What We’re Looking For

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience

Proven track record improving manufacturing processes and product quality

Comfort on the factory floor—you learn by observing, asking, and testing

Sharp analytical mindset—you trust your gut, but validate with data

Experience with automation and robotics is a strong plus

Excellent communicator and collaborator, especially across time zones and cultures

Willingness to travel up to 30% (mainly to the US and EU)

What Success Looks Like

Fewer quality issues. Faster throughput. Lower costs.

Manufacturing partners treat you as a go-to problem solver.

Cross-functional teams see you as an operations expert they want to work with.

You’re constantly iterating, improving, and helping Mixtiles scale smarter—not just bigger.

If you want to build systems that make exceptional products possible—we’d love to meet you.
