Assembly / Wiring Control Panel Technician $17 h/r Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm

Job Description

Play a vital role as an Assembly / Wiring Control Panel Technician working closely with a team lead to prioritize tasks which meet quality standards.

Responsibilities:

· Utilizing bill of materials to make sure the correct components are used in the panel. Mount components to back panels, enclosures, wire electrical parts using schematic (stripping wire, crimping lugs, continuity checks, ect..)

· Read and understand internal technical documentation including assembly drawings and schematics, as well as external documentation including vendor catalogs, instruction sheets and industry standards. Route and bundle wires and cables neatly to meet wiring standards, point to point wiring of relays, controls, PLCs, I/O Modules, VFDs, interfaces, and instrumentation, as well as maintain red line drawing mark-ups of changesReview prints for correct installation methods and location

· Read control system wiring diagrams and follow verbal instructions

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Use of basic math and document interpretation

· Working knowledge of electrical theory, terminology and electrical schematics

· Proficient use of digital multimeters and various hand tools

· Must be able to work with minimal supervision, maintain equipment and tools in neat, clean and efficient work area.

The base pay range for this position is $17 per hour. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
