Job Summary:
As a Financials Systems analyst you will join the Oracle Financial Systems Center of Excellence team responsible for the managing, administrating, enhancing, and training of the Oracle Finance Systems ecosystem. Act as a subject matter expert in Financial Systems, Business Processes, and project management. This role involves leveraging these expertise’s to provide financial systems knowledge, financial systems configuration, as well as managing prioritized projects, driving process improvements, performing root cause analysis, resolving complex issues, creating documentation, conducting testing, and providing ongoing production systems support.
This is a hybrid position based in Warren, NJ working 3 days in office, 2 remote.
Role & Responsibilities:
Be able to provide functional and technical services to our Finance and Business stakeholders, as well as play a pivotal role in requirements definition, design, implementation, and support of our overall Oracle Cloud Financials Application. This includes:
Support various accounting, finance, and reporting system related projects as a project manager and from a business owner perspective
Perform requirement identification, configuration set up, user acceptance testing, and production implementation from a process and operational standpoint
Assist business in the daily management of the ERP/EPM system and researching and developing future enhancements and system capabilities.
Manage and oversee configuration migrations between difference instances and environments
Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and training materials
Provide subject matter expertise on ERP and EPM related activities
Implement and recommend process changes/improvements within the financial close process.
Ensure SOX compliance and respond to audits as neccessary, including working with internal and external audit teams.
Support business needs surrounding the monthly close process, planning and forecasting, quarterly/annual financial statements and audits
Provide training and support to end users and other team members
Participate in cross functional projects, acting as the financial systems lead
Establish rapport and build cooperative working relationships with relevant internal and external parties
Act as a liaison between finance, IT, and other relevant departments to ensure financial systems meet the needs of users and comply with financial controls
Contribute to the leadership team for the development and improvement of accounting and finance technologies
Skills:
Relevant experience in accounting, finance, or similar field working in finance systems
Basic understanding of Accounting and Finance related concepts
Ability to communicate clearly to business, IT, across global teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail oriented and highly organized.
Display ability to complete multiple tasks and a high volume of work by established deadlines.
Highly enthusiastic, analytical, methodical, and disciplined in nature.

Work Experience & Qualifications:
College degree in either Accounting, Finance, or MIS
Minimum 2/3 years experience as a functional administrator of financial systems
Experience with Oracle Cloud Financials preferred
Experience with Oracle ERP and/or EPM modules a plus including:
General Ledger
Fusion Accounting Hub
Financial Close & Consolidation
Enterprise Planning & Budgeting Cloud Services
Enterprise Data Management
Profitability & Cost Management
Accounts Payable
Experience with one or more Oracle reporting tools a plus including:
SmartView
Narrative Reporting
OTBI
BI Publisher
Financial Reporting
Understanding of financial systems’ modules, configurations, and integrations points
Experience & creativity in troubleshooting data conversions, integrations, and/or software application problems
PL/SQL skills a plus
Insurance experience a plus
For NJ Only: The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $142,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
