Job Description

As a Bindery Operator, you will play a vital role in the printing process, responsible for setting up and operating bindery machines to ensure jobs are executed to customer specifications. You will oversee job approval and maintain the quality and accuracy of materials, ensuring they remain consistent and in sequence.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate bindery equipment.

Run jobs upon approval, ensuring they meet quality standards.

Maintain material accuracy and sequence according to customer specifications.

Ensure all printed materials are consistent with required standards.Essential Skills

Minimum of 2 years experience operating bindery machines in a printing environment.

At least 1 year of experience in the printing industry.

Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.

Experience with die-cutting, scoring equipment, saddle binding, collating, scoring, folding, and trimming is preferred.

Understanding of measurements and quality control, including the use of a ruler for precision checks.

Experience in custom finishing is beneficial but not mandatory.Why Work Here?

Join a family-owned company in West Chester, PA. The company offers full-color and digital printing services, utilizing the latest technology. Enjoy working in a flexible environment with openings on the 2nd shift (2:00pm to 10:00pm) and 3rd shift (10:00pm to 6:00am).Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
