Job Title: Body Painter Helper

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Body Painter Helper to join our team. This role requires flexibility and a willingness to learn various aspects of paint preparation and application. The position operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Responsibilities

Prepare materials and parts for the paint line.

Learn and perform tasks such as paint prep, hanging, taping, sanding, buffing, and conducting visual checks.

Assist in prepping carbon steel parts for the paint line.Essential Skills

Experience or willingness to learn painting techniques in an industrial or auto body setting.

Skills in sanding, paint prep, and wet coat painting.

Familiarity with using hand tools, spray guns, and paint booths.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in powder coating, buffing, sandblasting, and blasting.

Attention to detail.

Experience in residential or industrial painting prep work.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is non-climate controlled with heaters available in winter and industrial fans in summer. Personal protective equipment, including coveralls, is provided. Steel-toed shoes are not required, but closed-toed shoes are necessary.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Apex, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
